What If...

Still Moving Life is intended to be the "best" sour beer made by the brewer to date. Sip and reflect on the truth: many many past beer iterations have led up to this taste experience, including his greatest brewing failures and his greatest successes. Served on a portrait fragment coaster, the artist asks you to enjoy and wonder about personal history as identity. You, and all that you do, are made of all that you were before: successes and failures. Ordering drinks with friends creates the possibility of combining many parts of a portrait into a whole.

The Distance Between Us

Sunny Selby Johnston:

Introduction:
Sunny's socially engaged art is both emotionally and aesthetically touching. The work I have seen was among the most touching and thoughtful art I have encountered in years.

Bio:
Sunny Selby Johnston is a photographer and socially engaged artist living in Eugene, Oregon. Through film, mixed media, and augmented image, she explores themes of memory, the body, identity, and power. Sunny is interested in using her artistic voice to question the unconscious bias present in the acknowledgement of the unhoused and other marginalized communities. Manifest Beer:

Introduction:
I have enjoyed Brandon's beers almost since he opened. Hands down, My favorite place to try lovely, strange, always adventurous sours.

Bio:
Owners Gary Miller and Brandon Woodruff are well rooted in Oregon and share a common vision of local first. Gary has lived in the Willamette Valley for over 40 years and is a graduate of South Eugene High School. Brandon, born and raised in Eugene, followed his father's footsteps as a graduate of North Eugene High School. Brandon started his career as a barista at age 18, then quickly moved behind the bar where he would make some of Eugene's most exciting and creative cocktails. With a love for all things craft, Brandon has been brewing his own beer since 2006. He founded Manifest Beer Company in 2016 when he joined in an alternating proprietorship with fellow local brewery Elk Horn.
